What is "Take up the Space"?
“Take up the Space” is our own practical method of self-development, using drama techniques such as role-playing, hot seating, and improvisation. We identify social objectives and aim to resolve emotional, behavioural, and personal challenges using our very own theatre techniques.
“Take up the Space” encourages the audience to become “inter-actors” by exploring different options for dealing with problems and life issues. Act Too creates a secure and playful environment that allows participants to experiment with drama, explore their feelings, self-reflect, and improve confidence and self-awareness.

Well-being
Act Too offer a well-being pathway, using acting as a therapy tool. Our own “Take up the Space” technique combines elements of therapy and drama.
Our workshops explore mental health management through role play scenarios. “Take up the Space” is a form of psychotherapy that uses performance techniques, including improvisation and debate. Our technique has proved to help actors and audiences explore and process trauma by using performance techniques.
