About the event
For it’s inaugural production, Act Too are delighted to stage A Single Evening which features two short plays, A Single Dream and A Single Fear, both written by Leicester-based writer Chris Gray. The plays explores hope, loneliness, lost and potentially new-found love as Chris interweaves the deep emotions of relationships with light-hearted comedy. Both set in a restaurant and with a cast of four, two couples meet to discuss their futures whilst being tended to by an hilarious, somewhat overbearing and all-seeing waiter. Chris Gray is a writer of two acclaimed published novels, a published short story as well as a staged comedy. Chris has written for the BBC and Graham Norton’s production company, So Television.
